Sunday Morning Service Ops

What? It’s a program that we have in place for porch students on Sunday Mornings. Tha porch doesn’t meet as a group on Sunday Mornings…that’s because most of our students are only at church for one hour…so we want you to go to church…yes, you’re old enough now!

However, some of our students are at church for multiple hours…in that case the Sunday Morning Service Ops Program is for you! We want you to get involved in serving at church on Sunday Mornings! Did you know that their are more oppurtunities to serve on Sunday Morning than at any other time during the week? So let’s get you off the chair and into action shall we?

Most of the oppurtunities to serve on Sunday Mornings exist in the children’s ministry. They need teacher aids, teachers, program leaders, small group leaders, and up-front people as well! There are babies to hold and wild kids to calm! There are also oppurtunities to serve like welcoming/greeting, ushering, set-up, tear-down, tech and more…here is the thing though: we at tha porch think you’re of age to initiate this kind of thing on your own…we want you to make the call to things started. Directors and leaders at the church are hoping and waiting to get HS students involved in their area…so don’t be afraid: they would love to hear from you.
